Launch Register helps a UK accountancy practice define the companies it wants to review, check whether the profile has useful volume, work through a focused set of matches and hand selected opportunities into the practice's existing process.
It is a workflow layer over public Companies House records. Your practice decides what is relevant, whether to approach a company and what to do next. Launch Register does not promise that an incorporation is trading, needs an accountant or will respond.
Define: set a useful profile
You choose the locations, sectors, company types and exclusions that describe a campaign your practice can genuinely review. The profile is a starting rule, not a prediction about a founder or company.
Before saving it, the product shows a historical 30-day volume estimate. A narrow profile may return only a few companies; a broad profile may need more review capacity. The estimate is advisory and future volumes will vary.
Discover: inspect your own sample
Start with one profile, no card and a personalised sample. You can review up to 10 of the most recent matching companies from the previous 30 days. A profile can return fewer matches, including none.
The sample is a real product workflow rather than a public list. You can review the matches, record decisions, save companies worth pursuing and export selected records while deciding whether ongoing delivery fits your practice.
Qualify: review with judgement
Each match met the rules available from public Companies House records. Launch Register can show the relevant company details and why the profile matched. Those signals help organise review; they do not prove trading activity, location, quality, accountant need or buying intent.
Use the record as a prompt for careful research. Check your own existing-client and suppression records, decide whether the company is suitable, and mark the outcome consistently. Registered-office information is a statutory filing and may not be the trading address. SIC codes are useful classifications, not a complete description of a business.
Approach: your practice chooses the next step
Launch Register does not contact companies or choose a channel for you. Your practice decides whether an approach is appropriate, what information to verify, which lawful basis and channel apply, and how to honour opt-outs and suppression records.
The Outreach Playbook provides general planning and drafting guidance inside the authenticated workspace. It is not legal advice and does not make an outreach campaign compliant by itself.
Hand-off: keep only what deserves follow-up
Selected companies can be assigned, noted and exported into the CRM or practice-management system you already use. Launch Register supports the early review and hand-off stage; it is not a replacement for the system where your practice manages established opportunities.
How delivery fits
For a paid profile, you choose daily or weekly match emails. Matching records are delivered on that cadence after Companies House publishes them and they pass your saved profile rules. The message and downloadable files support the workflow, but the value is the focused review routine rather than a CSV by itself.
Launch Register checks official Companies House records and presents the relevant public fields. It does not create private company data, invent contact details or modify the underlying register. Public records can be incomplete, corrected or unsuitable for a particular outreach decision.
What doing it manually looks like
You can search Companies House directly at no cost. That may be the better fit when your practice checks a small number of companies occasionally. A fair comparison is to use the same campaign question and date window, record the filters and review decisions, then compare what each approach leaves your team responsible for:
- Manual search: repeat the search, capture the records, keep a review history and arrange any follow-up yourself.
- Launch Register: save the profile, inspect the historical estimate and sample, review matches in the workspace, then export the companies you choose.
Neither approach turns incorporation into a guaranteed opportunity. The right choice depends on how often you want to run the routine and how much review your practice can support.

The sample is free and needs no card. Continue with one £29/month plan when you want your profiles to keep bringing new matches on a daily or weekly cadence; the same review and export workflow remains available. There is no minimum term; see the Terms and Privacy Policy for the full conditions.

Who it suits
Launch Register is designed for small and mid-sized UK accountancy practices that want a repeatable new-company review routine. It is not a public database, a bulk data-reselling service, a lead guarantee or an automated outreach system.
Learn more through the fictional data sample, the product data and methodology and the public Playbook overview. The first step is to see your own sample and decide whether the workflow earns a place in your practice.
