These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Launch Register website and subscription service ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms as they stand at that time.

1. Who we are
Launch Register is operated by Dawson Digital Ventures Ltd (company number 17463710), trading as Launch Register ("we", "us"). If you have any questions about these Terms, contact us at [email protected] or through Contact Launch Register.
2. Acceptance and version
You accept the version of these Terms in force when you create an account, by ticking the agreement checkbox at signup. This is Version 2026-09-17. We record the version you accepted and when; a later version applies only to what you do after it takes effect, and does not retroactively change what you already agreed to.
3. The service
Launch Register provides a subscription service that filters publicly available Companies House data and delivers digests of newly incorporated UK limited companies — by email and downloadable CSV/XLSX — according to the search profiles you configure, together with a workspace to review, annotate and record contact with the companies it shows you.
The data we provide is drawn from the Companies House public register, licensed under the Open Government Licence. Launch Register is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Companies House or any government body. We filter and present public data; we do not create, verify, or guarantee the underlying records.
4. The free sample
- You may create one personalised free sample: one search profile, a historical 30-day volume estimate, and up to 10 recent matching companies. No payment method is required. It is a capped, one-time sample, not unrestricted access to the subscription service.
- The sample includes the tools used to work it: you may review, classify, annotate and export the companies it contains at no charge.
5. Subscription, billing and cancellation
- Ongoing delivery of newly matched companies is offered on a monthly subscription, currently £29 a month, with no minimum term, as is the ability to change your search profiles and delivery recipients.
- A valid payment method is required to subscribe. Your subscription and paid access begin, and the monthly fee is charged, when payment is completed.
- Any applicable taxes will be shown before you confirm payment.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's own terms.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
- We may change our pricing on reasonable notice. A change will not affect the billing period already paid for.
6. Plan limits
The subscription includes up to 10 saved search profiles, 5 team seats, and 5 extra email recipients beyond your own team members, and one workspace per customer. We enforce these limits in the product; if your practice needs more, contact us.
7. Acceptable use and your responsibility for outreach
You agree not to:
- misuse the Service or attempt to access systems or data unlawfully, including by scraping, crawling or bulk-extracting data from the Service by automated means outside the tools we provide;
- resell, redistribute, or sublicense the data or digests other than for your own business use;
- use the Service to send communications that breach UK data protection or direct marketing law;
- submit false or misleading information.
You are solely responsible for how you use the data we provide, including ensuring your outreach complies with the UK GDPR, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), and any professional or regulatory rules that apply to your practice.
8. What Launch Register does not do
We do not verify the people behind a company, guarantee that any match will become a client, or provide legal, tax or anti-money-laundering advice. Client due diligence, and the decision whether and how to approach a company, remain your own responsibility.
9. Accounts and security
To use the Service you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of any organisation you register.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe an account has breached these Terms, misused the Service, or created a risk to it or to other users, and we will look to restore access once the issue is resolved. We may also change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, giving reasonable notice where practical. You may stop using the Service, and cancel your subscription, at any time (clause 5).
11. Intellectual property
All content on this website and within the Service (text, branding, design, and software) is the property of Launch Register unless otherwise stated. The underlying company data remains subject to the Open Government Licence. You may not copy or reuse our content without permission.
12. Availability and no guarantees
We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, the completeness or accuracy of Companies House data, or any particular business outcome.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Launch Register is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, business, or data, arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers including Stripe (payments), Brevo (email delivery), DigitalOcean (hosting and file storage), and Google Analytics. Their use is governed by their own terms and policies.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as Launch Register evolves. We will post the new version here with an updated date, and record which version you most recently accepted; a change that materially affects your rights will not apply retroactively to something you already did under an earlier version.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
